The Philippines is famous for its breathtaking scenery and natural beauty. It's a hidden gem featuring some of the world's most stunning beaches, crystal blue waters and tropical jungle. Even better? It's a bit off the beaten path, meaning it's not crawling with tourists!

North Luzon Island is the largest of the islands in the Philippines. While it's not as tropical as many others, it is a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to indigenous peoples.

One interesting feature is that the lush green mountains contain pine trees instead of palms.

There are also an assortment of stunning waterfalls and incredible ancient rice terraces running along the sides of the cliffs.
