Banff, Canada
October 2018
Surrounded on all sides by the Rocky Mountains, Banff was Canada's first national park. It's close to both the unforgettable Lake Louise and to Kananaskis County, as well as a thriving arts and entertainment scene.
Incredible waterfalls and hoodoos — unique rock formations that resemble cathedral spires — are sprinkled throughout the park.
The drive through the Rockies is incredible. Winding, steep mountain roads pass through ancient forests, and wildlife can be spotted all around you. Keep an eye out for passing elk and mountain goats along the cliffs.
